Key Responsibilities:
- Chief Flight Instructor who is qualified as a Flight instructor to teach to CPL standard and must be acceptable to CAA to hold position of CFI
- As the senior civil-qualified pilot at HA, providing professional advice on EASA/UK CAA-regulated civil flight operations
- Reporting to higher management any factors likely to affect personnel or aviation safety
- Ensuring that optimum manning of the ATO component is maintained, especially in respect of qualification, experience and recency, and available to meet the HA training standards
- Complying with Policies and Procedures issued by the Company, including Company Department and General Procedures and any local instructions, if issued
Essential:
- Require a minimum of EASA CPL (H) with FE (H), (PPL & CPL)
- Candidates must be acceptable to the CAA and be able to hold Form 4
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum 1,500flight hours as a PIC and at least 700 flight hours as a flight instructor
- Class 1 Medical certificate issued in accordance with EASA
Desirable:
- Additional relevant qualifications such as IR (H) and FAA FI would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:
- Impart flying instructions as per the syllabus of a course
- Maintain student records
- Follow all safety procedures as per regulations and educate students on all aspects for safe conduct of flight training
- Perform other duties assigned by CFI
- Conduct Computer Based Training/Computer Aided Instruction/Synthetic training as required, including ground school lessons
- Conduct other tasks related to the Training System as directed
- Deliver training to ab-initio, refresher/Helispeed pilots
- Assist the Chief Pilot in the development and maintenance of RW courseware
- Complete other tasks related to RW training to the satisfaction of the Chief Pilot
- Produce successful and highly motivated students who excel in the airborne arena
- Assessment of all RW student pilots in accordance with the RW Assessment and Training Strategy
Essential:
- CPL – H holder with FI and valid medical and ideally a instrument rating
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a minimum of 1000 hours helicopter flight time and 250 hours airborne instructional experience
Desirable:
- EASA ATPL (H) licence
- Previous instructional experience of ab-initio training

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct required theoretical training for students in line with course modules-
- Development/discipline of all Ground Instructors
- Accountable for ensuring that the school is in compliance with the national regulatory requirements with regard to delivery of Theoretical Knowledge Training
- Work with the Head of Training defining and monitoring the required quality and standard of training given by the Ground training staff
- Ensuring Training policies and processes are suitable for task and regulatory requirements. Advising of Shortfalls and remedial requirements
- Ensuring that there is an adequate number of suitably qualified Ground training staff available to undertake the required training task of the school
- Communicating/promoting policies, procedures and standards throughout the Ground school
- Ensuring all Ground Training Staff are suitably qualified and company standards checks completed
- Ensuring that all Ground training documentation, manuals and courseware are fit for purpose and meet the requirements of the business
Essential:
- Conducting ground school training in accordance with EASA course curriculum.
- Ensuring Ground School subjects are taught IAW the approved flight syllabi,
- Manage assigned students training within syllabus and the schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of assigned students
- Ensure assigned students are scheduled for stage checks, Knowledge tests;
- Maintain currency in all procedures and regulations.
- Contribute to the revision and updating of Course syllabi
