The 2nd English Women’s Awards North 2019 will recognise and celebrate Northern female talent, women power-houses and organisations with influential and hardworking women making a change in industries across Northern England. Thousands of nominations were cast by the public over recent months and the full list of finalists has now been compiled and made live.

The 2nd English Women’s Awards North is taking place in Manchester’s Mercure Piccadilly Hotel on July 1st 2019 and is set to be a brilliant night celebrating the achievements of women in different roles across many sectors of industry, including business, sport, tech, management and charity.

The Awards will provide women entrepreneurs, professionals, businesses, civil servants and sports stars with a platform to be celebrated for their success and contribution to society, and stand as inspirational role models for the next generation of girls set to smash the patriarchy.

Gemma Walker is a finalist in the Services to business category. Gemma will find if she is a winner on the night of the event, taking place in Manchester.

“I am delighted to be placed as a finalist in the Services to business categories as my our business is my passion, I am part of the women in aviation charter which I recently attended The Houses of Parliament to discuss how we can make the changes in the industry, I believe winning something like this will help excel the charter and promote more females in these types of industry sectors.
