Gosport, UK – Vector Aerospace a global independent provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, is delighted to announce that it has signed a three-year contract with HeliSpeed Ltd. for the supply of civil pilots to assist the growth of Vector’s UK facilities.
The contract, which will see HeliSpeed supply pilots in support of Vector’s growing range of civil helicopter capabilities at its Fleetlands site in Gosport, will cover aircraft types such as the AS332 Super Puma, AW139, H125/AS350, H225, S-76 and S-92, thereby allowing Vector to offer a complete maintenance and test capability to existing and potential customers.

Simon Jones, Vice President Business Development at Vector Aerospace, stated: “As we look to grow in the global civil helicopter market, working with the world’s leading leasing companies, it is essential that we offer good value for money. Having access to HeliSpeed’s pool of vastly experienced pilots means we can utilise the skilled resource they offer, as and when required, and any cost savings can then be shared with our customers. Having this pool of type specific pilots available will also complement our new and existing capabilities, which include supplemental type certificates (STCs), modifications and system integration activities, undertaken in conjunction with depth maintenance packages.”

Capt. Geoff Packer, Owner and CEO at HeliSpeed Ltd., added: “This contract marks the culmination of much hard work. We are delighted to be working with and supporting Vector Aerospace as they continue their growth in the global civil aviation market.”
